Choose Life Tag

Thank you to each of you who purchased a Choose Life tag for your vehicle in 2006. As a result, Sav-A-Life received a check for $2,190.38. Please keep this in mind when you purchase tags in the coming year.

Sanctity of Human Life Service

On January 21st, First Baptist Church in Atmore will host a Sunday evening service emphasizing the Sanctity of Human Life. Because January is the month in which abortion was legalized in 1973, this is also the time chosen to reflect on the value of life.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the service, which will begin at 5:30 PM.

Speakers Available

If your church would like to have a speaker from Sav-

A-Life during the month of January (or anytime, for that matter(, please call (251) 867-4947 or (251) 368-4949 to make arrangements. "For God so Loved the world...."

...are the opening words of John 3:16, one of the most famous passages in the entire Bible. These words are extremely powerful, reminding us that God- seeing our condition- has a passionate desire to have a relationship with each of us. As Christmas approaches, this is an incredible reminder of why Jesus was born. It all started with God's love for us.

The love that God showed us through Jesus is why we are here at Sa-A-Life. We're not here to chastise our clients or frown on their lifestyles, nor are we here to debate them on the issues of the day. Instead, our mission is love.

Our love is characterized by both truth and compassion. The two work together to form an incredible bond that leads toward the Cross of Christ, where burdens are laid to rest and the door to salvation is wide open. This love desires to be a road sign on life's highway, pointing to Jesus Christ and the life He offers.

With love as our motivation, hearts are touched. Those who come in our door are often nervous and fearful, even desperate. Yet when they see love, they find something they want- and need- so much: Hope for their situation. That is why we are seeing lives changes. And that is why we are seeing lives saved.

Last week another young lady prayed to receive the gif of salvation. The opportunity was given, and she was ready to ask Jesus into her life.

Today a young couple came for an Earn While You Learn class. The young man would love to have a job where he could earn enough to be able to support his growing family. They would also like to end the dysfunctional cycles in which they were raised.

As we close this year and prepare for 2007 we look forward to expanding our services in the Brewton area. Also, we would like to add an additional person to the staff. As you know, financial support will be an integral part of this process.

With this in mind, we ask you to consider a special gift at this time. Every gift will make a difference and every gift will bring us closer to accomplishing great thinks in 2007.
